May Advisory Group Meeting

The next Washington Thriving Advisory Group meeting is on May 1st from 12-3pm.

The objectives for this session are to:

Provide high-level project updates
Share out progress from the system modeling work and discuss the resulting system map
Share out and discuss the Strategic Plan executive summary

If you are unable to attend the meeting on May 1st, there is a follow-up session being hosted on May 8th from 5-6pm to provide an overview and answer any questions for those who missed the meeting.

What’s Happening with Systems Modeling & Washington Thriving

Learn more about the ongoing system modeling work to develop a shared understanding of how the Washington State behavioral health system currently works for young people from birth through age 25. The developing dynamic model seeks to demonstrate how young people move through the behavioral health system, how resources impact access and outcomes, the effects of stigma, trust, and system overwhelm, and potential leverage points for implementing positive changes.

Discovery Sprints: Diving Deep into Four Important Challenges

Learn more about the research that was done to dive deep into four significant challenges and gaps in our behavioral health system: behavioral health during pregnancy, behavioral health in schools, transition-age youth, and complex hospital discharge. The findings and recommendations from these discovery sprints are being integrated into the Strategic Plan, alongside existing complementary action.
